If you need a reliable shipping printer for UPS and USPS labels, this is a great printer at a great price. We include a role of 4X6 labels, power supply, USB cable, drivers on CD or we can email a link for you.  We also have a 90 day warranty with friendly free tech support M-F 8-5 central.
The UPS version of the LP2844 is offered by many sellers and is identifiable with the label on top saying either Thermal 2844, Eltron 2844 CTP or the UPS logo with LP2844 or the label has been removed.
We think our customers should know what they are getting. We let you know they are not the same as the standard Zebra LP2844 that we also offer.

Why the UPS Thermal 2844 is a good option:
Less expensive, very reliable printer, works well on most shipping applications including:
For UPS: UPS.COM and UPS WorldShip as well as  most shipping integration packages.
For USPS: eBay Shipping, Paypal, Stamps.com Endicia and most integration packages
For Fedex: Works for some integration packages and with some tricks you can get it to work directly with Fedex (creating a secondary virtual printer with another driver)

Potential UPS Thermal 2844 Drawbacks:
Since it was made for shipping it has limitations built in and can be a little difficult to setup.
Many barcoding programs do not work correctly with the UPS firmware.
Sometimes they auto install, sometimes they don’t.
Cannot be upgraded to the latest Zebra 2844 firmware so some applications don’t work.
Non-programmable.
Many UPS LP2844s are offered with either no power supply or a cheap knockoff that is not engineered for this printer, so the print quality is poor.
Compatible With XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 10 (both 32 and 64 bit versions)- drivers included on cd with the printer.
